Deceased assessee-itr filing- refund to which account

Gud day everyone,
i need to file income tax return of a deceased assessee and it is a TDS refund case, All bank account have been closed by legal heir after the death of the asseessee, now in ITR1, i am trying to add his wife (representative assessee) bank a/c for filing. but, its not getting validdated. Rather, it keep on showing VALIDATION IN PROGRESS , but not validating.
pls suggest a solution for this. tnx

It will not get validated immediately. You may login through net banking to expedite it.

like, if login is done as self mode, it shows VALIDATED , while if logged as LEGAL HEIR, the bank account shows as VALIDATION IS IN PROGRESS.

It means it is validated. Need not worry for refund credit, it will be credited in same account.

File complaint under Grievances, if you are not allowed to file return as Representative Assessee, due to Bank account validation error..
