I did my CWA Inter in June 2007. I had completed 50 hours of Computer Training in 2006.

When I submitted the application form (for Group III & IV) for Dec 2010 exam, there was no insistence of Computer Training. I cleared Stage IV in that attempt. Again I submitted the application for Stage III exam in June 2011, there was no insistence for Computer Training Certificate at the time of receipt of application by the Chapter.

However, when another 5 days left for the exam, a letter from the Directorate of Studies comes to me and says that I am not eligible for appearing in the exam!! (for not completing the computer course)

Can anybody tell, where is the requirement that a CWA Final Student Registered under the 2002 Syllabus, should undergo Computer Training?

05 June 2011 There is no requirement, but u said as u have completd computer course so it would b better to reply in a letter to icwai kolkata thru speed post. Nd even to ur icwai chapter office.
