customs duty on wet dates

02 May 2011 Please tell me the exact customs duty on wet dates for the financial year 2011-12....please tell whether 30% or 10%..?
And after importing the wet dates if i sell it in Mumbai whether i need to charge vat on it...? as in Maharastra Vat on Wet dates is exempted.

02 May 2011 custom duty is 30%

custom cess 3%

in brief, on cif value of rs. 100 duty will be rs. 31.209

custom duty is 30% i do not know source that u repeating 10%,

please updated that:-

custom duty is 30%

custom cess 3%

in brief, on cif value of Rs. 100 duty will be Rs. 31.209
