03 December 2012 It is applicable for ALL the banks. After 31.12.2012 the old cheques will NOT be valid.

Accordingly all account holders have to obtain new cheques from their banks.

SBI is sending the new cheque books on its own. Account holders of other banks will have to request their respective branches to issue new cheques.
