Is it compulsory to file NIL CST Returns even if no oms Sales? Please reply?

No it is not required to file NIL CST return. But in case of VAT , returns are compulsory even if it is a NIL VAT return.

Provided you have shown NO interstate transaction in VAT return.
i.e. No export, no interstate sale, No Interstate branch transafer, etc
