Why the suppliers in Uttarkhand is charging CST @ 4.5%.

When the rate is introduced?

Do we need to issue Form C against those supplies @ 4.5% ?

Could I get a copy of the Notification in this respect ??

12 May 2011 You have not provided Vat No. so he charge full Tax. or you are not authorizes to purchase that items against from c.

12 May 2011 WE ARE REGD DELALER. WE HAVE ISSUED PURCHASE ORDER WITH OUR TIN. WE ARE ALSO AUTHORISED TO PURCHASE THE GOODS AGAINST C FORM.

I WANT TO KNOW WHETHER THE SUPPLIER COULD CHARGE VAT + ADDTL VAT (4.50%)

OR

HE COULD CHARGE 4% CST WITHOUT FORM C

12 May 2011 its depend on item what is rate in that state. but in your case ask to party to correct CST rate 2% against form C. he will correct invoice or give credit note.

I want to confirm whether he could charge CST @ 4.5% without Form C or

he could collect only 4% CST. ie. without addtl Vat of.0.5%

13 May 2011 CST FROM UTTRAKHAND 1 % UNDER C FORM

CST FORM UTTRAKHAND 4% OR 4.5%(AS PER YOU )WITHOUT C FORM

IN CASE OF INTER STATE SALE(CST)IF ANY ONE WANT TO PURCHASE WITHOUT C FORM HE HAS TO PAY THE FULL RATE OF VAT ACCORDING TO THEIR STATE
