I enrolled for cs and i got my books few days back.
I would really appreciate if someone will help me understand as to how i should study or tips and tricks to clear the exam.

Firstly, congratulation for being part of ICSI.

I will suggest you to read study material with scanner for understanding the pattern and subject. Then i will suggest you to read some book for reference.
