CPE hours compliance

02 February 2017 I cleared my finals in jan 15, I had been a non-cop holder upto 2016, so what is my cpe hrs compliance for block of 2014 to 2016 and 2017 to 2019?? Kindly help me bifurcate the cpe hours structure.

02 February 2017 Assuming you applied for your Membership in January 2015, the first year you are exempted. The block period is 2014-2016 (Extended till 31st January 2017), as a Non=practicing member you were required to do CPE of 45 years in the three year Block. Since you became member in 2015, you were exempted in that year. However, for 2016 period you ought to have completed 15 hours of CPE hours (both structured as well as unstructured CPE Hours).

The new Block starts from 2017 to 2019 you need to fulfill the CPE hours accordingly which 45 hours in 3 year period.

02 February 2017 Thank you for your valuable response sir. One more querry, whether for 2016 it has to be struçtured cpe or unstructured??

03 February 2017 It has to be a combination of both Structured and unstructured. You can avail only 10 hours of unstructured CPE and balance 5 hours must be in the form of structured CPE.
