Is Cost Audit required to be conducted before Tax Audit or can be done later

There is no such requirement. Tax audit can be carried out later.

Cost Audit report has to be submitted within 180 days form the closure of the financial year and also mention of the cost audit report has to be made before filing the Income Tax returns. Hence it is suggested to complete the Cost Audit before filing the Income Tax return
