Conversion and name change of the company

20 April 2012 We want to change the name of the Company alongwith conversion of the Company from public limited company to private limited company.

For E.g. name of our Company is XYZ Limited and we want to convert into Private limited Company by making its name as ABC Pvt. Ltd.

Whether name change and conversion both toghether possible?

If yes, what will be the procedure?

Please reply ASAP.

20 April 2012 Yes, First name change and then convesrion.

I am having checklist for the name change and for convesrion, paper notice, notice to creditors and approval from shareholder is required and then filing of Form 1B with ROC.

Am I Right?
