Once registered under PF Act, will the PF & Gratuity act apply to all the employees or can choice be exercised on to whom the said contribution can be made.
eg. an organisation may have office assistants to whom a fixed salary is paid. can contribution to such employees be avoided. Or rather should they be treated as consultants & not as employees to avoid contribution.

Once registered, the PF Act applies to employees upto the exempted salary. There is no registration fo Gratuity Act. It is applicable if conditions apply.

my company has employees total monthly salary is 8,00,000 about 20 persons gets salary more than 20000/- is it necessary to deduct their pf.

People whose salary is more than Rs 20000 per month are exempt from PF, provided they are not members of PF already.
