If some one sending goods on consignment basis to their agents, can that agent sale those goods on his name i.e. can he raise invoice in his name or do he have to sale them on consigner name?

The Consignee(i.e, agent) have to sale the goods in the name of the Company(i.e, Consignor). Consignee is agent of the Consignor who sell goods in his behalf. He will get Commission for the sale of the stuffs of Consignor.
Suppose u r the owner of goods at pune & i m ur agent at some other place say dehli. u send me some of ur products 4 sale, (but u dont transferred the ownership of the goods). I m here only 2 sale ur stuffs 4 a %age of commission. So hw ca i pay tax or sale goods in my name?? It is the consignor who will take care of his business. Consignee is only an agent.
