22 September 2015 i am going to start electrical contracting company for household and industrial wiring as well as repair work. what is the procedure for registration? where to register, whether in local municipal corporation or as one person company. what kind of taxes are applicable on billing ? experts please answer regards

Congratulation for your idea to start up a company.

2. You can start a company as Proprietor (Individual)
or Partnership (with other friends/relatives)

or One person Company

or Private Limited Company (2 person required min)

after deciding your constituion (above said option)

3. Then go for VAT Registration, Professional Tax Registration, Corporation etc.,

4. VAT is applicable if you supply materials (electrical goods)

5. If you provide service servisce tax will be applciable (after yoru turnover exceeds Rs.10.00 lac)
