28 September 2013 FLASH!!!!
1)clarified that the proposed Companies Act, 2013 will not be applicable for the
Intermediate (IPC) and Final Examinations to be held in May 2014.
2)Regarding the applicability for November 2014 Examination, the decision will be
taken based on the exact date of enactment of the above Companies Bill into
the Act.

It may be very much possibility that new Companies Act, 2013 will apply for your May 2014 attempt.

The reason is that most of the section of old Companies Act, 1956 has been abolished which has been given in your study module.

One think I want to also clarified that the new module of Corporate law will also issued by Institute in near future.

So be ready to study of new Companies Act, 2013.

The only formalities is waiting of Notification in this regards.

28 September 2013 It has been clarified by ICAI that the Companies Act, 2013 will NOT be applicable for November 2013 examination.

Applicability for May 2014 eaxms will be announced soon by ICAI. So wait for announce ment by ICAI.
