i hv an urgent query as to whether interim dividend can be paid out of reserves or not as the rules are silent about it.

19 May 2010 Though rules are silent but Sec 205 (1C) states that all provisions applicable to dividend will also applicable to interim dividend.

Hence rules are applicable
