Is Depreciation as per new companies act 2013 is applicable for f.y.13-14.
if yes then what is the date of applicability

i dont think relevant sections have been notified yet. So for all practical purposes, depreciation for FY 2013-14 should be provided under companies act 1956.

as a rule, unless and until the relevant section is notified, it cannot be made operational. till now only 98 sections have been notified.
