13 January 2011 Please clear me about applicability of VAT, TDS and Service Tax.
In which suitation VAT, TDS and Service tax apply?
Is all VAT, TDS and service tax apply in one invoice?
What are the basic difference on all these when applicable in manufacturing concern?

TDS - On payment

Service Tax - On providing of taxable services,

subject to provisions of realated laws.

Yes all three may apply on single invoice, if it fulfill the all three conditions.

14 January 2011 VAT- value addded tax which comes under state purview & apply on Sale & purchase of goods in the same state

TDS - Tax deducted at source. which is come under 2 different type, may come in Income tax & may come in Local VAT & WCT

Service tax- Applicable on providing taxable services as per list by govt and also some type of service recevied

There are possibilites in same invoice all the 3 may apply. But Income tax TDS not apply on material supply
