Dear Sirs
Can we get export benefit under Central Excise if the input is cleared as such? The export is to Nepal and the payment is to be made in convertable foreign exchange or against rupee payemnt.Product is Disel Generating Set. If yes,what is the procedure?

Yes on the face you will avail benefit but i dont know the exact procedure.

Yes, exports are allowed under bond without payment of duty if (a) payment is to be received in convertible foreign exchange or (b) export of specified capital goods to Nepal. The procedure and conditions are given in Notification No. 45/2001-CE (NT) dated 26.06.2001.
In the above case you may get refund of excise duty/service tax paid on inputs will be possible, if you have not availed any CENVAT credit in this regard.
