20 January 2013 Dear Sir/ Madam

I have bought a new property in Mumbai for which registration is completed with builder but as building work is still going on pujection is expected in July 13. We have made 95% of payment to builder.

Currently I am staying in a rented house. I have taken a loan and my EMI from bank as all ready started from Nov.12.

I am a saliried person can I claim HRA and EMI both in income tax ?

20 January 2013 You can claim HRA as you are paying ren. you can take benefit of principal amount to Aguirre house but dont take benefit as to interest portion in EMI as it would be available after actualacquisition of the house .

20 January 2013 How i would be able to claim interest portion which I am paying right now after aquisition ?

Say If I get pujection in July 13 so can I calim interest part from Nov. 12 to july 13 in next financial year.
