Carry forward of lossess from Shares & derivatives trading

I earlier asked this question and response was received that no provision of penalty, if I did not want to wish to disclose lossess while filing ITR. However, a day ago one person adviced me to show all financial outcome whether loss or profit while filing ITR, otherwise there will be a penalty. What's true.
