what is capital loss please give me some example of it

Suppose if you have purchased 10 shares of company "A" @ 250/- per share.
After few months... the prices fell & you have sell the shares @ 225/- per share.
here you have incurred a loss of Rs. 25/- per share i.e total 250/-
This loss is capital loss.
The above is only one example.

why this is capital loss, would it be ST Loss or LT loss, please state, further tell me what are the defference between Capital loss & STC loss or LTC loss
