what is the authorised share capital?? general meaning???

Authorized Share capital is the capital mentioned in the MOA & AOA of the company when it is formed. It is less than or equal to the company's Issued, subscribed and paid up share capital at any point of time. Authorized share capital can be increased when required. A company can not issue more than it's authorized share capital.
