Can someone have 2 or more PAN cards ??
Is it legal and if not what are the penal clauses related to this.

Obtaining or possessing more than one PAN is against the law, for which penalty of Rs.10,000/- may be imposed.

No legally you can have more than one PAN.
Having more than one attracts penalty of Rs.10000/- u/s 272B.

Also you can surrender one PAN to IT department which you are not using.
