Can part time cop holder apply for firm name & frn

18 June 2016 Dear sir/Madam,
I am working in Ca firm in pune since Feb 2015,still i am not taking cop,now i want to take cop(Part time)----can i apply for firm name & firm registration number also? ( I know part time cop holder cannot use attest function it is just for advertise on visiting card,starting consultancy etc, i will take full time cop after 1 year)
Kindly suggest me.

20 June 2016 You can take but you cannot do any attestation function. It is advisable to wait for a year if you are willing to apply for full time COP
