can a service provider get sales tax registration?

Can a service provider already registered under service tax,get sales tax registration? However it will not deal in any goods. Its main line of business is transportation. If someone guide me about the same,it will be a great help.

Actually we have to purchase Trucks for which we have to pay 12.50% tax and if we got registration then we can issue "FORM F" against which we have to pay only 4%. So, kindly reply and help me out.
