Respected Sir,
One of our client is already registered under karnataka vat(Sole Proprietorship).
Now he is starting business under the same line in another name(Sole Proprietorship), whether he can get another TIN number under karnataka Act

You cannot get the 2nd registration of VAT for same person. just you need to add the additional line of business in the existing certificate
