Calim TDS of Previous Year

This query is : Resolved

Quick Summary
If you haven't filed an Income Tax Return for a previous financial year (like AY 22-23) and had TDS deducted (e.g., £22,000 under Section 194H), you can generally claim this TDS in the current AY 23-24 return. To do so, you must declare the income on which the TDS was deducted, along with your current year's income. It's important to note that commission income cannot be declared under Section 44AD, and you should consider filing ITR 3 instead of ITR 4 for such cases.
