CA or CWA

Hello there, I'm B.Com with 2yrs exp in BFS BPO Industry. Yet to decide on CA or CWA. It seems you wont get paid decent salary as article trainee in CA firms other than Big 4 (and few..) Whereas various options available for CWA students (even they get to work in BPO,KPO & well paid etc).What's your take on this? I'm the breadwinner of the family and I have to support my family financially..So what would be the right one..Is it CA or CWA? Reply ASAP.

In your case CWA will be best suited for you. Most difficult part in CA is its articleship period. Hence i will recommend you to opt for ICWA.

Hello Sanjay,Can you explain about 3 yrs practical training requirement by ICWAI? Since i have 1.6 yrs Banking BPO exp, can i request exemption from practical training and complete the remaining 1.6 yrs either in financial BPO or as Cost & management trainee...If so whare can i find practising cost accountants in chennai?

They want 3 year experience even experience in a company will count you will have to obtain a certificate from employer. But i am not quite sure about BPO experience. You will have to confirm it from Institute.
