SIR/MADAM,
I a student from oman, studying CBSE 12 th standard commerce.unfortunately i have no clue how to prepare for my CPT.I am planning to write my Cpt after march board exam.
kindly guide me on how to acquire sample papers,study material etc.
can i prepare for my cpt in a month.

First Register for CPT by paying necessary fees at ICAI. They will issue study material. You must read them. Try to register for May 2008 exams.
Accounts: Prepare from study material and also try to refer class worksheets if it is possible through friends or colleagues. Good book in the community is Ainapure or Hanif Mukherjee.
Eco and Law study material is good.
QA which includes Maths and Stats is of Class XI and Clss XII.
Mock test papers are ssued with the material. Solve them to gain confidence.
Good Luck.

i send my application last month to icai.so far no one has contacted me.how do i figure out whether i m registered with the icai.please tell how much more time r they going take for registering me and in how many days more will it take for the study material to reach me
