I am in a partnership firm where there are 2 partners whose profit sharing ratio is equally between both.
My question is how do i calculate the interest on the partners capital ??

One of my colleague is a registered dealer under Delhi VAT and is dealing in goods exempt from DVAT. However, he has not filed any return during the FY 2012-13. He got a show cause notice from the DVAT dept. regarding cancelation of certificate against which he could not send a reply. Now he has got a final order from the office regarding the cancelation of the RC. What is the remedy available with him?

Sir i have a query. i want to take transfer in first year. but my CA said till he dont get the letter from the institute of my starting of articleship he wont sign. that means i cant take transfer because it would take 3-4 months to get article reg. letter. but there is my name under his membership number. what do i do sir. income tax office is very far from my office. i received intimation u/s. 143(1) regarding payment of tax.

they have not given credit to the tds and therefore tax is payable.

i went to deductor (SBI) and they said they will revise the tds return.

i want to reply to the AC/DC/ITO via Email but do not know how to get their EMail ID and even if i get is it ok ?

I have seen some outstanding taxes for AY 2009-10 in incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in. I have paid the amount 15 days back and can see that form 26AS of AY 2009-10 is updated with that payment. But outstanding request is still appearing in incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in. Do I need to do anything else or the outstanding amount will disappear in time? Thanks.

What is the exact criteria for getting tax benefit u/s 80C for Life insurance premium. If the premium is tha 10% of the Sum Assured, should one get tax benefit propertionatly?
