06 April 2013 i m a supplier.now i want to start manufacturing in same type of busines..should i change my vat tin number???should i get a cenvat credit of exise against vat?

06 April 2013 You can continue with the same TIN number.

Excise can not be adjusted against VAT.

Service tax or Excise duty paid on any goods or services which are used for manufacturing of goods(which should be excisable) then then both can be adjusted against Excise if eligible( If you opt for SSI then No credit).

Input Vat can be adjusted against output vat.
