Sir I have taken the loan of Rs. 10 lakhs for investing in the shares and paid interest on such loan and at the year end i have sold such shares and have a a capital gain .i want to know whether i can claim the deduction of interest on loan.give answer with neccessary referrence to income tax act,1961


Note: I have only income from capital gains

I had recd. div. warrant in the year of 1994 but but i could not deposited within the time, now as per the provisions of the companies act this amt.had been transferred to the Investor Education and Protection Fund (U/s 205C).
Can I claim it from that fund if yes than please tell me the procedure for the same.

Respected sir/madam, I want to know about how much time will be sufficient for preparation of CA Final in inclusive of CA Articleship.At present i devoted six hours per day in my study and eight hours in CA articleship. is it sufficient for me to prepare CA Final coure in a effective manner.my attempt will be held on may 2010
