Is there any stipulation by the CPWD or the PWD regarding the perecntage of turnover that can be paid as labour charges?
I was told that the maximum that a civil contractor can pay is 15% of the turnover, but couldn't find anything of this sort on the internet.
Dear Sir,
I am using Tally9 Multi user accounting package, When preparing accounting reports from Trial Balance, I tried to design a excel sheet that will fetch data from text file generated from tally9 in text format having
Head of account Dr amount Cr Amount
I am using powertools addin to remove n leading character to remove (-) symbol infront of debit balances.
When other users create a ledger accounts at their own, I can't resist them to create that but my excel template created by fails to show whether that head of account is matches with correct ledger account with respective ledger amount. Whenever I use Tools -> Get External data will update the accounting reports, shows some error.
I came to know that lookup, match will be helpful but I dont know how to use it
Kindly help me

when a house property is let out for part of the year and self occupied for part of the year then it is treated as if it is a let out property. And in determining annual value we consider muncipal value and fair rent for the whole year. should we take actual rent for only let out period or whole year?
ex: fair rent for whole year 20000. muncipal value whole year 22000. actual rent 2000 per month and let out only for 6 months as the remaining 6 months it was self occupied. in calculation of gross annual value should we consider actual rent as 24000 or 12000?

sirs,
while calculating income from house property,in the process of finding gross annual value we deduct unrealised rent from actual rent. Can unrealized rent of "any year" be deducted in computation of gross annual value of the previous year or only unrealised rent of previous year alone is allowed as deduction?
ex: in calculation of gross annual value for previour year 2007-08 we deduct unrealised rent of the year 2007-08. if there is unrealised rent of year 2005-06 then do we have to consider that or no?
thank you
