Hii group members,
We are unit in SEZ and hence service tax is exempt in our case. My question is that if we are paying freight to GTA then whether we are liable for service tax or not.
We have a centralised cum ISD registration which was taken for distribution of credit to other non exempt units. Will this registration is ok for GTA matters(in case we are liable for tax)or we require to take another registration?
Assessee is a company & receive a rent from Let out Building which includes rent of furniture.
plz solve my query in following case from Service Tax Act point of view:
1. Rent is composit...means there is no segregation between rant of building & rent of furniture.?
2. Segregation is possible but no separate agreement for rent of furniture.?
3. Separate agreement is there.?

a company is engaged in selling processed food items. it engages an agency for sales promotion / brand awareness through setting up stalls & letting consumers taste the food items. does the payment made to agency liable to fbt.
What requirements must a space meet to be a registered office? Must it be located in a particular zone (e.g. commercial, not residential)? Could a person's apartment serve as a registered office? Must it have a phone line? Must there be a certain number of employees located at it? Must it have a certain amount of square feet? Etc.
Assessee earning interest income & same is offered as a business income from last so many years. Further, same is accepted by dept in earlier years. In this year, A.O. treated interest income as a Income from other sources. So plz give me a case law for this, that assessee can treat as a business income.
