CA FIRM AS AN ARTICLED CLERK. HE IS NOT INTERESTED IN CONTINUING THERE. HE WANTS TO TAKE TRANSFER FROM THAT FIRM NOW, BUT HIS EMPLOYER IS NOT WILLING TO GIVE HIM TRANSFER, NOW WHAT HE SHOULD DO SIR?. HE IS NOT WILLING TO WORK THERE BECAUSE IN THAT FIRM THEY HAVE NOT GIVEN HIM ANY AUDIT ASSIGNMENT INSTEAD, THEY HAVE SENT HIM FOR A PRIVATE BANK AS AN TEMPORARY STAFF FROM PAST 6 MONTHS,THEY ARE NOT WILLING TO RELIEVE HIM FROM THAT JOB, TILL ANOTHER 6 ANOTHER SIX MONTHS . IF HE QUITS THAT FIRM WITHOUT TAKING TRANSFER ON THESE GROUNDS WILL IT AFFECT HIS FUTURE?

Sir, One of my friend who is a CA. Final Student is undergoing articleship under a Qualified CA at present.

Now, that CA - the employer, is leaving up his practice and going into a JOB.

Whehther in such circumstances, that article under him can be trnasferred / registered under any body by way of generation of Addl. Vacancy ?

Does this results into availing a additional vacancy for those CAs who's limit for training Articles is full, otherwise ?

which are the best suggested books for Direct and Indirect Taxes.
I will be taking my exams in may 2009

I HAVE RECENTLY KNOW ABOUT CHANGE IN CA CPT COURSE RULES THAT THE NEXT EXAMS OF CA CPT WILL BE CONDUCTED TWICE IN A YEAR INSTEAD OF TAKING EXAMS FOUR TIMES IN A YEAR.

I ALSO WANT TO KNOW THAT IS THEIR HAS BEEN CHANGE IN PASSING REQUIREMENT LIKE THAT :

MINIMUM MARKS FOR PASSING IS = 100/200, AND NEGATIVE MARKING IS 0.25%.

IS IT STILL REMAIN OR THEIR WILL BE A CHANGE IN ABOVE SHEDULE .

I have registered my self as article assistant on 19th october 2006. Now I have transfered to other CA firm and my old Principal has wrote 12 days excess leave. Now i want to know am I elegible to take exam of November 2008 ? Becoz according to CA Institute I should compeleted my 2 year Practical Training at last date of last month of subsequent attempt.
Kindly confirm me about this.

i'm working in the pvt ltd and apparing for may 2008 PE2-Group 2 exams for the first time..now itself i've spend only 4 hours daily for studies. still only two months for exams...this kind of preparation is enough for passing out.. kindly advice me...

It would not be possible to read all case laws so answer would be on concept basis so what would be methodology to write answer in that case.
