Partnership firm under Section 44AD

This query is : Resolved

24 August 2026 One of my client, a partnership firm, having a annual turnover of 45.00 lac. Whether he can declare his income u/s.44AD ? If yes, whether salary and interest to partners may be deducted from the income ?

24 August 2026 The partnership firm with a ₹45 Lakhs turnover can declare income under Section 44AD at 6% or 8% of total turnover. However, partner salary and interest on capital cannot be deducted separately from this presumptive income, as all deductions under Sections 30 to 38 are deemed fully accounted for.
