I am in CA Final.The CA Institute is going to discontinue CA Final old course from May 11 onwards. I have exhausted 5 attempts. I am doubtful whether i would be allowed to be transited to CA Final New course and to appear for final exams.Is there any limit of attempts for CA final ? Different people say different things. Please resolve my query ?

>> Please suggest top reference books for 8 final subjects with the reason why. ( in case of pratical paper, if you find theory part is best in one book and problems is best in another book, do suggest the both)

>> whether purchase of Financial Reporting book , Auditing book, DT and IDT books now is good since i'm apperin for May 2012.

Query 3: Study statergy.

Query 4: Any extra materials needed such as compilers, RTP, Bare Act or anything required.

Query 5 : Exam presentation. How was the answer sheet look like..i.e ruled or unruled...pen to be used etc. whether problems can be worked out taking both sides of sheets or vertically/horizantally etc..

i will work hard to clear exams.For this i have to make a Good start...

sir i have cleared cpt with 116 points in june 2010. I had left quantitative apt. Wholly and economics partially due to less time for preparation. I received my study material on 7 april and did everything myself.I came to delhi and did orientation prog. & itt train. and did not take coaching for ipcc. Due to exams of 2nd year, i came back kashmir. Exams will over on 18 jan. Please suggest what to do there after......
