hi . . .I have completed B.Com.Recently there is an announcement in icai website that students having completed B.com with minimum 55% score need not to take up c p t and they have direct entrance for articleship.I have written June c p t and waiting for results. .so plz tell me whether I too have c p t exemption.I have 89% in B.com.

I started my articleship of three years on 01/09/2011 and now i want to take transfer. i have already took about 97 days of leave so can you help me to calculate how many days of leaves are still available to me for my final exam my attempt is in Nov'12.
Also i have worked in a week more than 50 hours and also on sundays . So please help me whether as per ICAI these extra hours/days can be utilized for setoff of leaves and can be used for reduction of leaves taken.

what is the highest educational degree in the Indian education system provided by the university??...i know this is a type of question which has no relation with CA and ICWA..but i just want to know about the highest educational degree..according to me i think its Phd,isn't it??...first you will have your 10th then 12th after 12th bachelor degree then master degree and at last Phd...is it true??...i will be thankful to you if u please answer this particular query..THANK YOU...

Did the ICAI confirmed the news concerning that there is direct entry for articles after the clearance of our TYBCOM exam??
I am IPCC student n awaiting for result..
Can i do my articles as soon as i clear my TYBCOM exam??

I've just given my May 2011 IPCC attempt.

I really have gotta think where to join for articleship (BIG4 or Medium).

I really need help. Many people suggested that I join BIG4 if i wanted to have a career in service & if i wanted to do practice , then i better join a MEDIUM firm. Is this logical?

Also i want to do service for a few years & then settle down in Practice.

My other option is to do CPA & go abroad.

Plz help. How much does your choice about your training firm going to affect your career?

I am currently doing my articleship with a firm in mumbai, i would like to know is there a provision, as per the regulations of ICAI, to take a break from articleship for a period of 1 year or so as i have some problems. and then again aftre a gap can i just serve my remaining period of Articleship?
