Iam a ca student. I have recently graduated this year. But i have not cleared pcc yet. Given three attempts till now and waiting for the result of my third attempt. My articleship will be completed by Feb'2012. Iam thinking of doing cs simultaneously with ca and want to register for cs executive course, so that i can give my attempt for cs inter on Jun'2012. But now iam in a big confusion that whether i should do cs along with ca now, or wait till i clear ca inter or finals??

And i wanted to know whether cs is a mangable course for a ca student. Is it necessary that a student who has not cleared pcc in 1st or 2nd attempt, can't manage to do cs simultaneously with ca studies??

Many questions arising in my mind. Please help me with your valuable advice.

I have Joined the CA in 2005 PE II I clear the Eligibility Test & submit fee for examination but due to unavoidable circumstances I could not appeared in exam and since I have left the CA & Migrated to MBA & CS and cleared both.

Now once again want to rejoin the CA course, will you confirm that my old registration no. will be continue or take fresh admission for this ?

i would like to know that out of 4 papers in ipcc group-1 can we write two papers in one attempt? what is the required percentage to exempt those papers from future attempts? if we do not secure the required percentage in those two papers then will we have to write all 4 papers together or can we just give those 2 papers only again? please give me the required details...

This is with reference to BOS announcement BoS/Announcement/227/11 dtd. June 23, 2011 with respect to Period of Validation of Registration in Chartered Accountancy Course.

I had registered myself for CA final Course w.e.f. Aug 14, 2006 and have been appearing in Final Examinations since Nov, 2008 WITHOUT ANY LAPSE OR DROPOUT IN ANY ATTEMPT.

As per this notification “Final students who have registered on or before 31st October, 2006 are required to revalidate their registration before applying for November, 2011 Final examination.” - http://220.227.161.86/23150periodannoun2.pdf guidance

However, Bos/Ancmnt/revalidation/227/2008 dtd. June 4, 2008 reads as follows:
“The registration for Final Course will be valid for a period of 5 years from the date of initial registration. Further, THE REGISTRATION WILL CONTINUE TO BE VALID AS LONG AS THE STUDENT CONTINUES TO APPEAR IN EITHER OR BOTH GROUPS OF THE FINAL EXAM IRRESPECTIVE OF THE PERIOD INVOLVED WHICH MAY BE BEYOND FIVE YEARS. After expiry of the period of 5 years from the date the student initially registered himself/herself for Final course his registration will lapse except where such student has appeared in at least one of the last two examinations conducted just before the end of five years. Kindly let me know which notification shall prevail in my case and whether I need to revalidate my registration for the forthcoming Nov, 2011 Examinations.

I WILL BE GIVING 1ST GROUP IN NOV,2011. HAD A QUERY THAT IF I DON'T GIVE 2nd GROUP NOW. THEN IT WILL BE TREATED THAT I CLEARED FINAL IN TWO ATTEMPTS. BUT NOW IF I FILL THE FORM FOR BOTH GROUPS AND STUDY ONLY FOR 1ST GROUP, THEN WILL IT BE TAKEN AS 1 ATTEMPT OR 2 ATTEMPTS? PLS CLARIFY.
