sir my query is that are company secretaries getting job in merger aquisition or venture capital companies

i am in final year of graduation and hopefully looking to clear it june 2012.
I wants to do ca i had heard somewhere that cpt is exempted for graduates but no offical notification by icai.
Can any one tell me from whom it has approved and from whom had left ?
What steps are still required to applicable it and any approximate time till it going to be implemented !

I am C.A. Final year student and I have attempt in May 2012. Could any one help me out which of these(cost accounting, DT, IDT, ISCA) subjects can be done through self study. I consulted from many of the seniors and they suggested to take coaching for DT and IDT and do self study for cost and ISCA. Please give your suggestion on this and Please suggest good books for each of these subjects.
