I got exemption in module 1 paper 2.
then what should be my passing criteria?

from some1 i heard that 50% aggregate is not applied to student who claim exemption so only 40% in each paper is applicable? is this correct?

I am the student at CA-FINAL . I cleared CA-IPCC in Last attempt through single-single group in 2 times . My attempt for CA-FINAL will due on may 2015 . I want to give single group first time , what plan should i take for classes . I think i should take the classes of first group alongwith costing of 2nd group before appearing and the classes of DT and IDT after giving the exam .Is it a right step.

sec. 292 of the companies act specifies certain powers should be exercised only at the board meeting but it does not says about the appointment of Company Secretary only in Board meeting my question is Whether a company secretary can be appointed through circular resolution? .The companies act didn’t mandates the appointment of CS thro BM but secretarial standard- 1 on meeting of Board of directors specifies that CS should be appointed only in BM. My another question If a CS appointed through Circular resolution means ( AOA of the company permits ) how we can file form-32 without Board resolution or we can file it with the circular resolution?? Please clarify in detail.

My client is a 100% EOU. It procures Ram material from Foreign countries and It also procures form domestically for it s domestic sales (DTA). presently company is paying Excise duty on DTA Sales.

My doubt is whether excise duty is applicable on DTA sale by the EOU ?? Because there is a Circular No. 442/8/99-CX
dated 4/3/1999 which exempts form Excise duty . still this notification is valid ???
some people are telling that this circular has been amended by notification no.23/2003. but no where specified the same. Is it valid ???
