i have a problem with my graduation.
I finished my cpt in nov 2006
and finished my first year of regular graduation in march 2007, i got registered as an articled assistant on april 2007
when i went for joining articles my employer told me that i cannot continue my regular graduation as it is objected by the institute along with articles, so i discontinued my regular graduation and i joined in b.com first year of ignou university(open university) again approved by icai
i wasted my one year of academic education
please tell me friends whether a regular graduation with articleship is possible or not

dear sir/madam,
recently i came to know about some change in the time period of articleship before attempting final.
i have heard that the period has been reduced to 2yrs from what it used to be 2&1/2 yrs. And some are saying that in my case it will b 2& 1/2 yrs because the new 2yrs rule is applicable only to students registered in Old Final. As i will be clearing PE2 in 2008 (either in Jan'08-for Nov'07 or in July'08-for May'08) and will be gettin regstered in the New Final.
Pls clarify.

Hello friends!!..I wanna know abt some top most firms of CA in mumbai for doing articleship.I had appear for CA-PE-II in this november-07 and after that i wanna pursue my articleship in mumbai so i wanted some info for the same.I need info like name,address of the firms and working hours in that firms and stipend they pay for same.well i will also be completing CS-INTER and ICWA-INTER by 2nd JAN-08.As such I had completed BE(Information Technology)in july-06 but after that have decided to do CA as having gr8 interest in finance and taxation.plz guide me..all ur views would be precious to me..

With respect to subject cited above, I would like to have your take on the issue that, how big impact does it have not possessing pre-qualification experience other than the articleship period training course?

Is it appropriate for a qualified C.A. to work in BPO industry, wherein he has nothing much to exploit with his knowledge and skill acquired in due course?

Kindly clarify:
If one gets 60% or more in a subject to get exemptions in the next 3 consecutive attempts is it necessary that one scores a minimum of 30 marks in all the other subjects in the group. ie suppose one writes 2 papers well assuming he gets 62 and 64 and only 20 and 18 in the other two papers of the same group, will he still get exemptions in the papers he scored 62 and 64. Kinldy advice.
