04 December 2007 Sir,

Am doing Final CA,attempt pending on Nov 2008.Have started reading but it is in initial stage.My query is that
I was doing BBM in Bangalore 2003-06 batch however I completed My PE-1 & PE-2 while i was doing BBM,Immediately after PE-2 I Joined articles so missed finay Year BBM,as an effect am not been able to get my Degree,I have a definite plan to do either MBA in abroad or in premier Indian institutes or CPA after completing CA,so I request you to kindly guide me whether Degree is so very important for CPA or MBA,even after clearing CA

04 December 2007 WHETHER A C.A WITHOUT ANY BASIC DEGREE CAN JOIN MBA OR NOT ?
THE ANSWER IS NO BECAUSE MASTER OF BUSINESS IS POST GRADUATE DEGREE . POST GRADUATION IS NOT ALLOWED WITHOUT A BACHELOR DEGREE.
10+2+3 IS A COMMON MINIMUM ENTRANCE FORMAT /CRITERION FOR ALL IIMs IN INDIA,AND I BELIEVE EVEN OTHER TOP BUSINESS SCHOOLS (ALSO ARE INCLINED FOR THE SAME) LIKE JAMNALAL BAJAJ OR NORSEE MONJEE ,S.P. JAIN ETC...AND SUCH TOP BUSINESS SCHOOLS.
BUT ONLY SPECIFIC ENQUIRIES YOU NEED TO MAKE WITH ICFAI/IGNOU/ANNAMALAI UNIVERSITY OR SUCH INSTITUTIONS WHO OFFER MBA BY CORRESPONDENCE COURSE.

For MBA you must first shortlist good universities. Then please post your question as you will have to go through entrance and gds. We will be able to guide you. Good Luck. IIms have CAT and JBIMS has its own entrance. ICAI has tie up with IGNOU.
