Firstly, I registered myself with ICAI from Vijayawada (AP) during PE1 in 2005. I passed PE 2 in 2007 and registered for articleship from the address of Hyderabad. Journals are sent to the old address only. Is there any necessity of informing the changed address in a prescribed format to ICAI or is it sufficient to state the current address in F - 102,103 during registration of articleship. I had cleared my CPT exam in NOV 2007 & started my training from 1 may 2008. I am also doing B.com and just cleared my 2nd year. Now, can i pursue my B.com 3rd year as a regular student??????

we have a contract for 2 year. in which 1 year we raised bill of only labour i.e. 60% of contact with WCT and next year labour charges with service tax. so can we take the input of service tax in the 1st year as take the credit next year? if yes where we can show the input amt in b/s

Can an article exercise his due leaves at any time he want? Actually, I have earned the leave for about 110 days and I want to exercise them for my exams of PCC which are going to held in this Nov. Can I do so? Furthermore, please tell me can I avail those Sundays and other holidays as leave on which I have worked in past. Please post your precious thoughts.

An Articled trainee has completed two years of Articleship.
He has been offered Industrial Training by a reputed company.

Now, the CA whom the student has been undergoing Articleship Training is not allowing the student to go for Industrial Training.
The student informed the CA 6 months back that he is in search of industrial training offers. At that time itself, the CA cautioned that he would not allow the student for Industrial Training.

Whether the CA can refuse to allow the student for industrial Training?
Whether the Industrial Training is only at the mercy of the Principal CA?
