i have heard about GMCS Residential course conducted by CA institute in uttar pradesh.can any one tell about the programme?.i think that is unlike GMCS, it is three months course.

Suppose a bank has to make a payment of Rs.9000 to a CA firm Including Service Tax As an audit fees.I want to ask why Bank will deduct TDS on whole amount including service tax because service tax will have to be deposited by firm in full @ of 12.36%.This means TDS on service tax have to be born by the firm.

I've cleared PE 2 and my articleship has commenced from 23rd October 2008. I have 3 queries. Could you please answer them.

1. What's the time-limit for submitting final registration form and form 102, 103 to icai?

2. what's the Eligibility test paper scheme for new final course?

3. when will be my first attempt of exam?

What is the procedure of getting transfer for articleship ? I mean what forms are to be executed ?

When My elder brother was doing B. Com., he registered himself with BOS w.e.f. Jan 25 2006 after passing PE I exam. He had appeared for PE II thrice and cleared one of the two group. After completing Sunday tests, he was issued eligibility certificate dt. 10/01/07 valid upto May 2008. Then a circular came regarding extension of PE II till May 2009. He submitted his examination form for Nov. 2008 exam. and thereafter his admit card (provisional) came in which he saw his registration no. and roll no. missing and also directing to submit valid eligibility certificate by November 30, 2008 otherwise he can sit for exam. but his result will be withheld.

Now why result will not come if he sits for the examination?

How he can sit for his exam when he is not given his roll no.(although his exam center is given) ?

Why his eligibility conditions are not valid as till date he attempted thrice only?

It appears that the institute has extended last exam for PE II till May, 2009 but it is for whom and how to avail the same.

So this are the questions which are not cleared and various attempts to get the queries cleared failed due to improper response.

Kindly help so that if he could appear in his exam or decide his future strategy.
