06 November 2008 In various cases we see that, companies call for M.Com and people of Equivalent status. So my question is in that regards.
By equivalence I mean, after passing CA we can directly go for Phd, similarly if we pass CA inter what would be the equivalent status in that case.
If it is equal to M.Com

16 January 2009 No equivalence status is there. ICAI Courses are independent. TATa Group had clarified that no employee should expect that CA Inter is = MCOM for salary. Even artilced assistant in E&Y (after three years) draws Rs.32000.
