What will be the consequences when a CA Firm having two partners and one partner resigns?. Whether the firm can continue as a proprietary firm with same PAN or the continuing Partner register as a fresh one with ICAI and and obtain Firm Registration Number?.Kindly advice

My query is little technical to answer.

My father expired few days back who was a practicing Chartered Accountant. I was working with him and was handling all the accounts and other activities in the firm. I am not a Chartered Accountant.

The partnership firm comprised of 2 persons so it has become necessary for me to appoint a new partner in the firm.

I have got a CA who is ready to join the firm. My query is, what kind of agreement shall I make with the new partner so that my source of income remains safe and he cannot take my existing clients to his own firm, incase he desires to do so.

I am facing a lot of difficulty at the moment in deciding to admit the new partner and want to do the paper work correctly so that no one can take away my existing clients as my dad took many years to build them.

Please help.

When contract labour are engaged in a company, labour contractor is employer and company is Principal employer. PMPRY is initiated to encourage new employment generation. Govt. is reimbursing employer's contribution to encourage employers for employment generation.
However, in recent times it is observed some companies are demanding to repay employer's contribution paid by them to contractor towards contract labour.
My query is, is principal employer entitled for the same?

A person gave an amount of Rs.25,000/- as security deposit while joining a company. The condition is that it will not be refunded unless he complete 2 years i the company. But same is "not mentioned" anywhere in the offer letter provided by the company.
He wanted to leave the company because he got a better offer. The company is not ready to return the security deposit since he has not served for a period of 2 years

Is there any provision in any law for getting the refund of security deposit.

If I have a sole proprietorship firm and if I joined as a partner in partnership firm, am I eligible to practice in sole proprietorship firm name or not.
If after 2 years I came out of partnership firm is my sole proprietorship firm will get 2 years of experience.

I am having COP since 13/08/2012. I have been Partner in a Firm of Chartered Accountants since 01/06/2014.
Am I eligible to apply for FCA.
If yes in Declaration of Form 3 under which sub clause _________________ _____________________________________of clause3 of the Regulation5** of the Chartered Accountants Regulation, 1988. am I eligible to be admitted as a Fellow Member.
