Please guide me on the following aspect of Share price valuation (Arrive at Fair Price) of a Capital Goods (Machine) manufacturing Company as Folowing case:

"Share Has to be Transfered from Foreign National to Indian Investors".

1. Should I consider the current Profit/Loss in the current P&L?
2. In case of Bad Debt how it could be evaluated and taken care off for Share price evaluation purpose?

In case, one buys or sells a futures lot, does one show the full value of the lot as purchase or sale, in the books of account or does one show only the margin money paid as sale/purchase?

My wife has sold Sardar Sarovar Bond On BSE earned Long Term Capital Gain of Rs.50000 during the F.Y 2008-09. During the same year, she has incured Long Term Capital Loss of Rs.40000 on sale of shares on BSE.
Can the loss on sale of shares be sent off against LTCG made on Sardar Sarovar Bond?
