I want to open D MAT account..... is their any need to maintain minimum balance in that account... If yes, How much??

Hi Pallavi
It is same as your bank account..however herein you deposit your share.
It means Holding the share in electronic format.
There is no need to maintain the minimum balance as you you can sell all of your shares..
Intra day transaction does not come under the purview of DMat...only the net position comes..
