ABC Company's name changed to XYZ after amalgamation. I hold the physical shares certificate in name of ABC, therefore, the request for dematerialization was rejected, and asked to get a new cert in name of XYZ.
What is the procedure to get the same done?
assessee has taken Loan from Bank for Purchase of Shares (held as Investment)
Interest paid on such Loan can be deducted from Taxable Dividend and Capital Gain
What if assessee has taken loan from relative thru Cheque and invested same in Shares.
My brother had purchased a 3 BHK flat in Gurgaon in 2014 which he recently sold out but during this process, he suffered a loss. My question is: Can a loss on sale of a house property be set off against Capital gains ( Long term / short term) of mutual funds / shares transactions?
My turnover of intraday and delivery based traders is Rs.40 lacs approx.Do i need to maintain books and get the same audited before filing ITR or i can be exempted from the same.Further,please advise if i can file ITR on presumptive basis and if so,then which ITR i have to file.

Now my question is can I book loss as LT Capital loss n adjust same with realised LT capital gain.

Please guide how to address the issue. My father is a senior citizen of 89 years doing constant follow up for its share transfer with IEPF , But the mails are unanswered. As per dept. a senior citizen help line number is given but the same is deactivated. ( 011-23441727). Mail is send to concern email id also . No confirmation (email@example.com). My father is very dishearten and facing mental stress. Please guide so that i can take it up to help him out to get his issue address. Its impacting on his health also.

I want to know are the above SIP's good enough for long term investment if my investment horizon is around 10 years and I want to get return on this investment of around 15-20%.
